The beginning
I grew up around cameras, radio and television. At 11, I started filming everyday life with a Sony DV camcorder and discovered editing by accident.
I later studied arts, image and sound, and learned to see composition, light and rhythm as part of how an idea is communicated.
How I work
I'm interested in the part before the camera turns on: What are we trying to say? Who needs to hear it? What will make it feel clear and natural?
I help shape the concept, words and visual approach, then carry that thinking through production. I notice how people move, how a space changes a frame, and how small choices in light or wording affect what an audience understands.
Now
I'm Valeria, the creative director behind Valeria Content Lab. Based in Miami, I help people and brands shape what they want to communicate and turn it into thoughtful, visually strong content through on-camera direction, creative direction, and photo and video production.
Clients aren't only hiring a camera. They're hiring the way I think through what they want to communicate - and the ability to turn it into finished content.
